Business Description
Our business focus is on innovative skin care products that improve on the skin’s natural health and abilities while effectively alleviating various skin symptoms without the use of medical treatment. We are able to achieve this through extensive planning, research and development to focus on the cause of the problem and solution for the problem, while also selling through appropriate distribution channels.
Caring for your skin in this day and age seems to be very complicated with all types of imagery and information overload from the mass media, but, in fact, skin care should be simple. Through our research we will focus on bringing simplicity back to skin care and creating safe and effective products without any gimmicks or unnecessary ingredients.
Our world’s first and exclusive ostrich antibody ingredient (INCI: Ostrich Egg Yolk Extract) developed jointly with Professor Tsukamoto, allows us to provide alternative solutions to skin trouble with care that will revolutionize the market by having the ability to nullify the effect of specific troublesome bacteria and provide an optimal balance in skin microbiota.
Additionally, our formulations are researched and developed to provide optimal performance to bring effective results to give you naturally healthy and beautiful skin.
Background
2011
Zeal Cosmetics was incorporated. Launched skin care product for atopic dermatitis (eczema) skin.
2012
Launched skin care product for acne skin.
2013
"Development of Functional Skin-care Products using Ostrich Antibodies" featured in Fragrance Journal, Japan’s journal for the cosmetics industry.
2014
Opened R&D center in Biopolis, Singapore.
2015
Established "Antibody Medical Beauty Research Study Group" at Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine.
Started CSR activity partnering with Better Future Foundation.
2016
Began collaboration study with Singapore A*Star research institute, Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB).
